We offer a stress-free and hassle-free collection service as an alternative to skip hire or a trip to your local recycling centre.

Our rubbish removal service is carried out in-house with our own Euro 6 vehicles and directly employed staff ensuring a great reliable service.

All your waste is taken to an authorised transfer station for recycling and disposal.

Our service is also very flexible, you only pay for the waste you need collecting. From a single item to a full van load.

How does it work?

  • If you need your waste from a building project, old furniture, broken appliances, overflowing bins or bulky waste taken away then Nolla Waste can help.
  • We will arrive on your selected day and start removing your rubbish. We will take before and after photos and these will be emailed to you with your Waste Transfer Note.
  • We then take all the waste collected to a third party waste transfer station. All of your waste will either be reused, recycled or sent for energy recovery. We aim for zero waste to landfill.
How Does It Work?

Why should you book Man & Van?

  • No road permits are needed if you don’t have a drive.
  • Labour included – we do all the lifting and carrying.
  • Same day collection – Leave your waste in an accessible place on collection day and carry on as normal. Or we can remove the waste from inside your home, we will send you a time slot so you’re not sat waiting around all day.
  • Most waste types removes – We can remove bulky waste, light construction waste, commercial waste and household waste. Please view our waste types below.
  • A tree planted for every online order – Through our partner Ecologi, we plant a tree for every online sale helping to improve biodiversity.

Acceptable Waste

Our man & van waste clearance service can take most waste types including:

  • Furniture, whitegoods, wood, metal, general rubbish, recycling, cardboard, plastic, garden waste, books, clothes, old toys, mattresses, packaging, old tools, waste electronic equipment (WEEE)*, Tyres*, bric-a-brac, kitchenware, sofa’s, old TV*

*Unable to book online currently, please contact us to arrange a collection of these items.

Non-acceptable Waste

The following waste streams can’t be booked online, however, please contact us and we can arrange disposal in most circumstances via a specialist contractor:

  • Hazardous waste, clinical waste, sharps, needles, knives, paint, batteries, lithium ion batteries, liquids, oils, weapons, explosives, vehicle batteries, fluorescent tubes, pressurised containers, spray cans, fridges or freezers, asbestos.

We can take soil, rubble and plasterboard however due to legal weight restrictions we can’t take large quantities. A skip in this case will probably be cheaper for you. Please contact us and we will be able to point you in the right direction.

FAQ’s

If on the day you have more waste than booked the team will provide you with a quote for the extra rubbish. We can collect there and then if the van has the capacity, if not the collection will be arranged for another time. If you have less rubbish than booked on the day, don’t worry, the team will speak to the office and issue you a refund for the difference

No, if the waste is in an accessible place then we can collect without you being in. If the waste is in the house then you will need to be in.

Due to the way we plan routes to minimise miles we can’t guarantee exact time slots. However, we try to accommodate any special requirements. You will also receive a time slot on the collection day.

You are charged by the volume of the waste collected. However, each load size also has a weight limit.

Yes. Please contact us to arrange. We will need advanced notice and the clearances will be charged bespoke depending on the requirements.

The cost depends on the load size required. We offer single item collections starting from £25 to full van loads. You can see all our prices on the bookings menu. Or contact us and we can arrange a quote. You can also send us a photo of the waste by email or Whatsapp so we can quote accurately.

Yes, our team can park on the road or in a safe place as long as it’s near to the collection address. However, if you have parking permits or parking restrictions this needs to be arranged prior. If we arrive on the day and can’t carry out the collection we will refund you the full amount.

You can cancel a collection at any time by contacting us and we will issue a full refund. We ask that you try to give us as much notice as possible so we can rearrange jobs.

We can collect your rubbish from inside or outside the property as long as there is clear and safe access for our team. However, we can’t enter lofts or climb ladders etc to remove waste.

Large items will need to be dismantled so they fit through doorways etc in your house. We can also arrange this, however, there will be extra charges due to the labour. Please contact us for more info.

It will help the collection teams if smaller items are bagged up however you don’t need to as our teams will brush up during the collection. If items are scattered over a large area we may not be able to pick it all up during the collection timeframe so it may be better to bag it up in this instance.

Our collections can take from as little as 5 minutes for single items up to an hour for a full van load. Also, depending on the location of the waste collections may take longer.

All waste is taken to be sorted at a waste transfer station where items will be sent for recycling or energy recovery. Items from home or office clearances are often taken to charities for reuse or repair.

You can book multiple collections through our online booking system but they would have to be separate transactions and on separate days depending on availability. If you need multiple collections on a single day please contact us so we can arrange this for you.

We are a new start up business so currently only cover a selected area from our operating base to remain competitive and reduce travelling miles and therefore emissions. We will be expanding to other areas soon. Please contact us if we don’t currently cover your area as we may still be able to help.

Our van service is able to help you for light, bulky waste such as furniture and packaging. A skip is more suitable for heavy waste such as bricks and soil or ideal if you are removing the waste over a few days with no safe place to store. Please contact us and we will be able to help.

Yes! We pride ourselves on doing what we can to minimise our emissions therefore we have invested in Euro 6 vehicles right from the start. And we aim to trial alternative fuels as soon as possible.

Yes, unfortunately for some waste types we have to charge extra due to the costs passed onto us from our recycling partners. These include: mattresses, electronics (WEEE) and tyres. Please contact us to arrange a collection of these items. Our collections teams on the day will also be able to provide a quote for the collection of these items.
